Hello! My name is Hannah Hetzel-Ebben Yarolimek, and I am a 4th year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I am a 2021 graduate of Florida State University. At Florida State University, I earned a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance and am minors in Biology and Chemistry. I am involved in both opera and musical theatre. During my time in Tallahassee I appeared as Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes and in the opera chorus of La Bohème. At CWRU I have performed with the Case Concert Choir and solos with the CWRU orchestra.

At CWRU SOM, I continued to show my passion for the arts by participating in the Humanities Pathway. I have also continued to pursue my research passions with publications in Humanities journals and through cardiology research. Lastly, I have served as the co-director of both DocAppella and an outreach program at Cleveland Heights High School.

 

At Florida State I was a member of the honors program, the Garnet and Gold scholars society, and served as a Community Ambassador for the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, heARTS Inc. I was also awarded The University Scholarship, Bonnie Morris Seminole Scholarship, and a full out of state tuition waiver at Florida State University.

 

I have previous volunteer experience at Progressive Pediatric, Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in the Internal Medicine unit, and Big Bend Hospice. Finally, I serve as the National Projects Manager of heARTS Incorporated.
